HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. No tagging. No setup.

Point Scenelet at a folder of videos. Let it index in the background. Search whenever you need.

STEP 01

Add your videos

Drop a folder, a drive, or a project archive. Scenelet handles mp4, mov, mkv and more.

STEP 02

Indexing runs quietly

Scenelet watches each clip and writes a tiny semantic index. You keep working — it runs in the background.

STEP 03

Search in plain language

"The scene where..." That's the query. Results come back with thumbnails and exact timestamps.

TECHNOLOGY

Built on local AI.

A purpose-built AI model for video search runs directly on your PC. Scenelet understands the content of every frame — no cloud, no tagging.

PURPOSE-BUILT AI Understands what's in every frame An AI model built for video search reads each scene by meaning — not by filename. Works on objects, mood, action and place.
REAL-TIME SEARCH Sub-second across hours of footage AI finds the best scene from the index it creates. Search results return in as little as 1 second, depending on your environment.
ON-DEVICE Footage never leaves your PC Indexing and search run on your CPU/GPU. Your files stay where you put them — Scenelet only reads them.
OFFLINE Works without internet No cloud, no API key, no telemetry. After install, no network connection is required — not even for search.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Faster with a GPU.

Scenelet ships an AI model that runs locally. A modern NVIDIA GPU keeps indexing snappy on big libraries.

ALSO SUPPORTED

Other configurations

GPU AMD GPU or CPU onlyRuns on the CPU. Indexing and high-accuracy search take longer.
VRAM Under 8 GBWorks, but processing may be slower.
RAM Under 16 GBProcessing may be slower with 4K footage or long files.
Heads up. Scenelet will still install and run below the recommended spec, including on AMD GPUs and CPU-only machines. Search accuracy is unchanged, but indexing and search responses may be slower.
FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need to tag my videos?
